Why 4%
4% exists because insight alone doesn’t heal trauma.
Most approaches focus on understanding what happened.
4% focuses on repairing what trauma disrupted — the nervous system, relational safety, and our ability to feel present in our bodies and with others.
Based on trauma-informed, nervous-system–first work, 4% recognizes that healing happens bottom-up, over time, in safe relationship — not through force, catharsis, or endless self-analysis.
The name comes from research suggesting that when approximately 4% of a population shifts, meaningful systemic change becomes possible.
4% is about creating that shift — one regulated nervous system at a time.
How 4% is Different
4% is not therapy, coaching, or self-improvement.
It is a relational healing container designed to support deep trauma repair through:
- safety and consistency
- nervous-system awareness
- attuned facilitation
- community-based healing
The work draws from:
- trauma-informed leadership and psychological safety
- somatic and relational approaches
- group-based repair rather than individual fixing
There is no pressure to share, perform, or “break through.” Healing unfolds through presence, pacing, and trust.
This work is especially supportive for people who are functional on the outside, but internally exhausted, disconnected, or stuck in old patterns despite years of insight.
The 4% Community

Not everyone who enters withkym will move into 4%. And no one is ever pushed toward it. The two are connected by shared values, not obligation:

withkym makes 4% possible by creating trust, community, and access. 4% strengthens the ecosystem by supporting deeper healing that ripples outward.

Access, Cost & Affordability
4% is designed to be accessible without being extractive.
Participation is offered through a sliding-scale model, with options that reflect different financial realities. No one is excluded because of income, and no one is asked to prove hardship.

How This Is Funded
25% of all top-line revenue generated through withkym — including circles, gatherings, the sale of merchandise, and other offerings — is directly reinvested into 4%.
This regenerative allocation exists to make trauma healing available to anyone who wants it, regardless of financial means.
Rather than extracting value, the ecosystem is designed to circulate it — allowing those with more resources to support access for those with less.
